Eddies Jean Moore (80) went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, December 19th after a lengthy illness.

Jean was loved by all who knew her. She graduated high school in 1962 from Jackson High School in Sylva, NC. Upon graduation she attended Southwestern Community College where she received her certification in Early Childhood Development. She worked at Morning Star Daycare and Mountain View Manor. She also worked in the daycare at the United Methodist Church. Jean was a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. Even as her health was failing, she faithfully continued to attend church.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Carrie Moore, sister, Dwain Moore and granddaughter, Kennedy Moore. She is survived by her son, William Charles Moore (Stephanie) a granddaughter, Kindello Raven Moore of Asheville, NC, three sisters, Louise Thomas and Barbara Thurman of Bryson City, NC, Apphia Grier of Jonesboro, GA, a nephew, Demetrius Grier, two great nieces, one great nephew, and a host of other relatives.

Jean will be greatly missed by all her relatives and friends. A beautiful angel has now earned her wings and flown home to be with her Lord. Although she is gone, we will always hold her dear in our hearts.

Funeral services were officiated by Rev. Jean Hall, pastor of Morning Star Baptist Church in Bryson City, NC. Rev. Joe Nathan and Rev. Paul Sale of Cornerstone Wesleyan Church of Bryson City, NC assisted.

Funeral services were held 12:00 PM Friday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Swain Memorial Park.

The family received friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
