Edith Wright Freeman, 87, of Almond passed away Friday, August 19, 2022.
She was a former postmaster of Almond, NC. Edith loved the Lord, her family, hummingbirds, and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Princie Wright; husband, J.C. Freeman; son, Ed Freeman; and sister Hildred Wright Woodard.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Debora Freeman Lindsay; son, Jim Freeman; sister, Betty Lou Wright; and special cousin, Edna Whiteside.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Eddie Taylor officiated.
The family received friends from 2 to 3 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
