Gerald “Jerry” Dale Roddenberry Sr., 60, of Bryson City, passed away Friday, January 28, 2022 at UNC Health-Blueridge in Morganton. He was born in Charleston, SC on May 7, 1961 to Robert and Geneste Frances Weaver Roddenberry.
Jerry worked as a concrete finisher and was of the Christian faith. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his stepsons, William Ray Owen and Brad Michael Owen.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Connie Roddenberry; daughters, Christina English Folsom (Jason), Misty Sasko and Kimberly Sasko; son, Gerald “Dale” Roddenberry Jr.; Biological father, Robert Roddenberry Sr. ( Linda); stepfather, Howard Richard (Norma); brothers, Robert “Robby” Roddenberry (Lori), Timmy Roddenberry, Howie Richard and Chris Roddenberry (Angela); sisters, Cindy Sullivan (Paul) and Veronica Hurtado (Leo); grandchildren, Jason Matthew Folsom, Adriana Lee Folsom, Elizabeth Marie Sasko, Andrew William Dyleski, Madisen Rose Sasko and Rylie Hope Roddenberry.
Celebration of Life service was held on Friday February 4, 2022 at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel in Bryson City.
