Margaret Kimsey Greene, age 79, passed away unexpectedly on January 14, 2023 after a brief admission at the Swain County Hospital.
Margaret was preceded in death by her sons Sean and Frederick. She is survived by her daughter Lois Greene, brother Calvin Kimsey, and sister Alice Lance. Also left to cherish her memory are three grandsons, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She had a kind and loving spirit and had a knack for remembering childhood events and people she had known. Margaret loved visits from her family and friends (Leisha and Sonya) who called on and cared for her and her two loved cats.
Crawford/Ray Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A private family service will take place in the near future.
