Bryson City— Ronald Voin Smith, 81, passed away on Wednesday, January 18,2023.
A native of Cocke County, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Arlie V. and Cressie Fox Smith.
Ronald proudly served in the Army reserves. He was employed for 17 years retiring in 2008 from MK Management and was a member of Bryson City United Methodist Church.
Ronald is survived by his wife of 57 years, Wilma N. Smith; daughter, Karen Smith; son, Ronald Smith, Jr.; two sisters, Jackie Halloway and Sheila Young; and two grandsons, Kyle and Seth Smith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Association –Asheville, 4600 Park Road, Suite 250, Charlotte, NC 28209, for the benefit of studying dementia.
