On Friday morning, outside of the post office on Mitchell Street in Bryson City, the town public works department could be found responding to a water main break. The response called for a Bobcat, cutting up a section of the sidewalk and digging up lots of mud to get to the line. It took four hours to repair the six-inch line. Photo by Jessica Webb/SMT
