Cooper Reed McClung
Cooper Reed McClung, infant son of Colton and Emily Cook McClung of Bryson City, passed away early Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Angel Medical Center in Franklin, NC.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandmother, Barbara Phillips McClung and his maternal great grandfathers, Gordon Cook and Don McCoy.
In addition to his parents, Cooper is survived by his maternal grandparents, Jamie and Karen Cook of Bryson City; his paternal grandparents, Teresa and Todd Mastej of Tuskeegee, and Chris and Melissa McClung of Robbinsville, NC; his maternal great grandparents, Betty Miller and Aileen McCoy of Bryson City, NC; his paternal great grandparents, Hubert and Joette Cable of Tuskeegee, and Sam McClung of Robbinsville, NC; his aunts, Megan Cook Lucas and her husband, Jonathan, of Bryson City, NC, and Kari Mauck of Waynesville, NC; his uncles, Alex Cook and his wife, Shelby, and Jaxon McClung, all of Bryson City, NC, and Eil Mauck and his wife, Tess. He has several great aunts and uncles, great great aunts and uncles, and many cousins.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2017 at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Robbinsville, NC. The Reverend Marty Pressley officiated.
