Frankie Ball, 84, of Bryson City went to be with the Lord on June 16, 2021.

Mrs. Ball was born on July 26, 1936 in Graham County, NC to the late Wayne and Evia Holder.

She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church.  Frankie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition, she enjoyed visiting with her sisters and traveling with her family.  She also liked to quilt and crochet in her spare time.  She was a loving person that will be missed by all of those who knew her.

Mrs. Ball is survived by one daughter, Gina West (Don); one son David Ball (Jackie); three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and four sisters, Bernice Cabe (Mack), Olene Taylor (Edgar), Arlene Henry, and Joann Tipton (Earl).

Additionally, the family would like to thank Four Seasons Hospice, as well as the entire staff at Swain Community Hospital for all of their kindness and care during this difficult time.  Our community is so fortunate to have a local facility with such compassionate staff to care for our loved ones.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 12:00pm at Deep Creek Baptist Church. Pastor Mike Cogdill officiated.

The family received friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm, one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Deep Creek Baptist Church. Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the Ball family with arrangements.
