Nancy Passmore Watson, 84, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Friday September 18, 2020. A native of Swain County she was the daughter of the late Elisha and Fannie Kirkland Passmore. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Dillard Watson; one grandson, Curtis Alan Brown, and siblings, Frank Passmore, Frances Davis (Jim), Nath Passmore (Betty), Ella Mae Anderson (Bill), Maggie Rolls (Bill), and Elisha Passmore (Jean).

Nancy is survived by her three children, Nat (Marcia) Watson, Kim Watson (Tim Childress), and Misti (Kevin) Jones; Grandchildren, Eric Watson, Evan (Ruthie) Brown, Michael (Lynee) Watson, Noland (Kristen) Brown, Kayla (Jamie) Kirkland, and Karie Jones; great grandchildren, Nathan Brown, Colin Brown, Leah Brown, McLain Brown, Laney Watson, Ember Kirkland, Ariana Kirkland, Nathaniel Watson, and Seth Brown, and many special nieces and nephews.

The family received friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Monday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service immediately followed the visitation at Holly Springs Cemetery on Kirkland’s Creek in Bryson City, NC. Pastors Evan Brown and Michael Watson officiated.

Pallbearers were Eric Watson, Noland Brown, Jamie Kirkland, Kevin Jones, Tim Childress, and Duane Cook, Heath Shuler and Benjie Shuler.

Honorary pallbearers were Billy Anderson, Cleveland Rolls, David Passmore, Clifford Childers.

Masks were made available and social distancing was recommended. The family wants to be sensitive to others during the pandemic.
