Thomas L. Smith, 69, passed away at the Bailey Center for Caring in St. Augustine, FL on May 22, 2017, surrounded by his loved ones.

 Some of his hobbies are to include playing guitar, singing, reading, family, crossword puzzles, feeding natures animals, and traveling. Some of his accomplishments include being the Chief of military Police NAS Key west, FL, Combat Pistol Expert, and a police academy graduate.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Guy Malcom Smith and Margaret Merle Taylor and brother, Terry Webb.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Eva Smith, daughters: Penny Jarriel (Dwayne), Gina Griffin (Shawn) and Charli Evans, Tosha Cain (Dennis), sons: Terry Smith (Shelley), Randy Masters (Vanessa), Thomas Smith and Timothy Smith (Kathy), sister-in-laws Barbara and Joyce. Grandchildren: Steven, Jessica, Matthew, Caitlyn, Gavin, Daniel, Jonathan, Jonah, Nicholas, Marissa, Ashli, Maghen, Lillian, Zachary, Trey, Kirstin, Kaley, Taya, Elysa, Madesyn, Morghan, Makenna and eight great-grandchildren.

A visitation was held from 11:00 am to noon with a funeral service beginning at noon at Craig Funeral Home, May 26, 2017. Burial followed at Pellicer Creek Cemetery.

Craig Funeral Home Crematory and Memorial Park (www.craigfuneralhome.com) was in charge of arrangements.
