Golf finishes 4th in final SMCC match

In the Swain High Golf team’s final match hosted at Smoky Mountain Country Club, the team got fourth place with a total of 215.

The game was led by Murphy who scored 158, and following them were Robbinsville with 191, Cherokee with 196 and Swain with 215.

The Maroon Devils were led by Landon Harrison, who got a 50, his best round of the season.

The second place on the team consisted of Braylon Aldridge tying with Skeet Cook – they both got 53. Jaden Wade finished the game with a 59.

“This is our lowest round to date,” Coach Josh Crisp said in an email, “as we push towards the SMC Championship in late April, we are picking up momentum to compete at a high level.”

The team will be playing next on Tuesday, April 4 in Hayesville.
