Lady Devils softball played two back-to-back games on Friday against the Blue Ridge Sports Academy and the Asheville Trailblazers.

The Lady Devils won their game versus the Trailblazers 9-4 and played a great game. Things stayed pretty close until the 4th inning where Swain got an impressive five runs compared to Asheville’s one, ending the game with 9 runs and 10 hits.

Unfortunately, the team fell one point against Blue Ridge Sports Academy 7-6. Blue Ridge scored three runs in the first inning to Swain’s one, the Lady Devils got four runs in the 2nd inning, battling out till the end where they just couldn’t get the win in the 5th inning.

On Tuesday, the Lady Devils hosted Andrews at home for Senior Night honoring senior Savana Smith. The game kicked off in a good way for Swain, with five scores in the first inning, to the Andrews Wildcats zero. The Lady Devils continued their high scoring streak with three runs in the 2nd inning and six in the third inning alone. They ultimately finished the game with a 15-4 win.
