Young Bae has served as Clampitt’s legislative assistant since 2023.
“I witnessed, firsthand, his dedication to public service and his deep commitment to the people he represented,” said Bae. “Representative Clampitt often reminded me that the first responsibility of a legislative assistant is to serve our constituents. I will continue to honor that principle and remain available to assist you with any issues or concerns you may have. I will greatly miss this wonderful man. Representative Clampitt’s dedication, leadership and kindness will be remembered by many across our district and throughout North Carolina. Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
