The Swain County Lady Devils volleyball team has been on a winning streak with four back-to-back wins in the past week. Last Wednesday Swain traveled to Hiwassee Dam for a non-conference game, where the Lady Devils brought home a 3-2 win. Then on Thursday they hosted the Highland Highlanders at home where they got a 3-0 win. This week, their luck continued as they played at Tuscola on Monday for another 3-0 win.
On Tuesday, Swain hosted the Nantahala Hawks at home for a non-conference match.
In the first set Swain won 25-10, followed by 25-6 in the second, and ended the third 25-2. This made Swain’s third 3-0 win in a row.
Next week, the Lady Devils will host the Robbinsville Lady Knights on Tuesday, in what’s sure to be an interesting matchup.
Swain is currently ranked 4th in conference with a 2-2 record and Robbinsville is 1st in conference with a 4-0 record. The Lady Devils will host another home conference game on Thursday against Andrews, who they won against 3-0 last time they met on the court.
