On Tuesday, Swain Middle School’s band held their annual Christmas Concert at Swain Arts Center.
Middle School band director Tim Sale began the concert with a welcome and thanked the district, high school band director Karen Lanning, the band boosters, parents and students for their support and participation.
Sixth grade performed first, with three holiday tunes, Up On a Housetop, A Christmas Sleigh Ride, and First Holiday Fanfare.
In between each grades’ performances, Swain High School band members performed a saxophone duet, clarinet duet, tuba and piano, saxophone ensemble, flute trio, trumpet duet, and trombone duet.
Seventh grade band performed A Festive Fanfare, Chant De Noel, and Festive Finale and eighth grade performed Good King Salsa and Santa The Barbarian And The Pirates of the North Pole.
