Wize Guyz Grille opens on Main Street

Wize Guyz Grille opened its 5,000-square-foot Main Street location on Wednesday,

The restaurant can seat 102 people and 60 more in its outdoor patio.   

“We have burgers, fries, chicken wings, pasta, pizza and anything you could want,” said Bill Hamilton, director of operations. “You could eat here seven days a week and get something different every day. We also have a full bar. We like to offer the smaller communities a big city restaurant experience.”

Wize Guyz Grille has been in business for 13 years with restaurant locations in Cherokee, Whittier and the Deep Creek area.

Thomas Bynum, owner,  and Hamilton hosted a VIP event on Monday. City and county dignitaries, business owners, law enforcement officials, public school employees and others attended.

“A lot of people from Bryson City have supported us in Cherokee,” Bynum said. “We are excited to bring our taste and profile to this area. We have made a lot of relationships in Bryson City and we are excited to be part of the community.”

A separate meet and greet dinner took place Tuesday evening to welcome additional community members.

Wize Guyz Grille is open Monday through Sunday from 11-11 p.m.

It is located at 240 Main Street.
