Fred Delis Jones, 85, of the Wilmont Community passed away peacefully on January 15, 2022 with his family by his side.
His loving and faithful wife of 63 years, Ruby Lowe Jones passed away earlier on November 1, 2021.
He was also preceded in death by a son, David Jones, his parents, Robert Jones and Lettie McCall Jones; a brother, Melvin Jones; daughter-in-law, Martha Woodard Jones; son-in-law, Robert Mathews and a sister-in-law, Linda Jones.
He is survived by his children, Kay (Daryl) Laney, Gale Martin (Fiancée, Bill), Kathy Jones, Fred (Bernita) Jones, Cindy Mathews, Dennis (Connie) Jones, Daniel (Misty) Jones, Amy Jones; his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Melissa Laney, Makayla Carlisle, Branson Carlisle, Preston Rhinehart, Chad (Susan) Laney, Emily Laney, Zachary (Abby) Jones, Ruby Jones, Ezra Jones, Jeremiah (Tonya) Jones, Jessica (Derek) Holder, Levi Holder, Titus Holder, Jacob (Amber) Jones, Arabella Jones, Charlotte Jones, Dakota (Anna) Jones, and General (Fiancée, Alyssa) Jones.
He is also survived by his siblings, Johnny Jones, and Ruth (Oscar) Greene, and many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Crisp Funeral Home. Funeral services followed at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Ned Pressley officiated with burial in the Sawmill Hill Cemetery.
