Robert Lee Stockton

Robert Lee Stockton, 92, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 24, 2021. He was the son of the late Matt and Bessie Davis Stockton and husband of the late Betty Stockton.

He attended Towstring Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Stockton.

Robert is survived by three children, Eddy Stockton and wife Sherry, Richard Stockton and wife Julie, Cathy Mathews and husband Roy; two grandchildren, Kimberly Greene and husband Luke,  Kari and Zach Manley; three great grandchildren, Autumn Greene, Harlyn and Irelyn Manley; and his brother, Gene Stockton.

A memorial service was held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. J.T. Lambert officiated.

The family received friends from 10 to 11 am Saturday at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff of Mountain View Manor for their care of Robert.
