Robert Lee Tucker (Bob) passed away peacefully on November 21, 2019 to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Bob was a loving father and husband, and minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He delighted in ministering to his fellow man, preaching and teaching ,spreading love and compassion to everyone he met.

He was a man of many talents, he loved singing and playing the piano, and he was a master carpenter and craftsman, building his own home from the ground up.

Bob pastored several churches in the Tampa, Florida area before moving to Bryson City, North Carolina. There he pastored Mount Zion Baptist Church for several years, and then Almond Baptist Church

For 20 years. He was Director of SWARM(Southeast Area Resort Ministry) for 13 years ,he loved his campground ministry and his nursing home ministry, and especially dear to his heart was

“Sweet Thoughts” the ministry and support group that he founded for Alzheimer’s patients and their families. Bob touched many lives and will be missed by all.

Bob is survived by his wife, Carolyn Green Tucker, a son, T. Clinton Davis, and a daughter Rhonda Denton.

He was preceded in death by wife, Mary Louise, (Lucy) Tucker.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, December 3rd at 2:00, with visitation from 1:00 -2:00, at National Cremation and Burial Society, North Fort Myers, 3453 Hancock Bridge Parkway.

A graveside service and burial was held in Bryson City, North Carolina on Saturday, December 7th at 1:00, at Crosspoint Almond Baptist Church, 351 Watia Road, (Almond) Swain County.
