Veronica Kuckel

After a life of love, smiles, and laughter, Veronica Kuckel is now able to rest. Veronica was born in The Bronx, New York to John and Mary Boylan. Her early life was spent in New York and New Jersey.

After a successful career in banking, Veronica met and married the love of her life, Bernhard “Bernie” Kuckel. Once retired, this amazing couple created a home in Florida. Several years later, the mountains of western North Carolina called to them to settle into a comfortable home in Whittier, NC. Bernie preceded Veronica in death in 2010.

Veronica loved to be with her neighbors and long-time friends.  She always made sure exercise was a part of her day.  Fun time with others in social clubs of her neighborhood, including cards, book club and scrabble was also a priority.  Veronica’s quick wit and support of others will truly be missed by many.

A graveside service was held at the Lou Pollock Memorial Cemetery, Asheville, North Carolina on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 10:00am.
