Last week the Lady Devils softball team played Hiwassee Dam at home on March 22 and again away on Friday.
Unfortunately Swain suffered two losses against the Eagles.
During the home game Hiwassee Dam began the scoring in the first inning with three runs, while neither team scored in the 2nd or 3rd inning the Devils and the Eagles each put two up on the board in the 4th, but in the 6th and 7th inning Hiwassee Dam scored four more points. The final score for the game was 9-2 with a loss for the Lady Devils. For Swain, Breanna Wesley and Haileigh Woodard each scored a run and Maddie Spates, Savana Smith, Kandyce Crisp, Haileigh Woodard, and Kaley Parker had one hit each.
At the Hiwassee Dam away game, Swain fell 17-0 to the Eagles.
