Maroon Devils wrestling hosts Devil Duals, takes 1st at James Orr Classic

The Swain County High School Maroon Devils wrestling team hosted the annual Devil Duals on Saturday, Jan. 25.

The Devils hosted ten teams from WNC and Tennessee at Swain High School.  Enka High School is this year’s champions, and Pigeon Forge had a very strong 2nd place finish. The Maroon Devils went 4-1 on the day. Team scores for Swain are below.

The Maroon Devil wrestling team captured 1st place at this past weekend’s James Orr Classic Wrestling Tournament, the annual event that is put on by Robbinsville High School.  Swain tallied 148 total points on the day, with three first place finishers.
