Deborah Hughes, 65, a native of Bryson City, NC passed away in her home Tuesday May 17th, 2022.
She was the daughter of the late William Thomas “Tommy” Hughes and Dixie Kirkland Hughes.
She is survived by her daughter Summer Hughes; her uncle Frank “FD” Hughes; Aunts Wanda Ballew and Drama Lee Woody; and many cousins. Also, special family friend, Maxine Largent.
Deborah was a land locked beach bum who loved her three yorkies Cricket, Kai, and Ryder, like they were her children. Two days after her death, she was joined in heaven by Ryder.
A celebration of life will be held at Riverfront Park in Bryson City on June 19th at 2:00pm.
