Ida Louise Nations

Ida Louise Nations, 77, of Sylva, NC., went home to be with the Lord Sunday March 20, 2022

Louise was the daughter of the late Jack and Myrtle Turpin.

She is survived by one son, Brian Nations; one brother, Lyle Turpin; and several nieces and nephews.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Everette Dale Nations; her brothers, Jack, Jimmy, Charles and Edward Turpin; and by her sisters, Ann Banks and Darlene Rathbone.

Louise worked at several places during her career including Harris Regional Hospital and Harrah’s Casino, where she finally retired from. During these times, all of her co-workers became her extended family. Louise loved attending Church, and reading her Bible. She truly loved the Lord.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, March 27, 2022 in the Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Services with the Pastor Tim Sheridan officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
