Commissioners support Kuwohi name

Sept. 11 prayer and dinner held

To honor and in appreciation for Swain County first responders, residents of Swain County hosted a prayer and barbecue dinner Sunday, Sept. 11 at Riverfront Park. Swain County First Responders performed a Table of Honor ceremony for the fallen.

Shots fired, man chased & charged
