Ronald Ron Frederic Haigler, 77, born October 12, 1942 passed away peacefully on October 09, 2019 at the Medwest Harris Hospital in Sylva, NC following a period of declining health due to diabetes and COPD.

Mr. Elmer Alton Jenkins (E A) age 84 passed away October 16, 2019   He was born August 1, 1935 to the late William Glenn Jenkins and Eliza Jane McClean Jenkins.   He was predeceased by his daughter Linda Ann Jenkins Locklair Hall, Brothers Jerry Danny Jenkins, William Glen Jenkins Jr.

Billy Ross Ensley, 72, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord, Thursday October 17, 2019.  A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Ross Odell and Gladys Ball Ensley.

  Born in Cherokee, North Carolina, Raymond began playing the banjo at the age of eighteen. A natural entertainer, he was a musician for over six decades entertaining audiences around the world with his unique and individualized style of banjo playing.
