Kimberly Elaine Jones Parton, 55, of the Birdtown Community passed from this life to a bigger, better, and brighter adventure with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2022. A native of Cherokee, she was the daughter of the late Johnny J. Jones and Mary Helen Partridge.

Jason Anthony Wade, 47, passed on into the stars, on Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was the son of the late T. Lee Wade; one sister, Kimberly Wade.

Landon Crisp

Landon Crisp, 82, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Friday, April 15, 2022. Landon was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Crisp and the young man he raised as his own, Ronnie Fisher. He was retired from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Service and was a US Army Veteran.

Lois DeHart Camby

Lois DeHart Camby, 105, of Lexington, NC and formerly of Bryson City, NC, passed away Monday, April 18, 2022, at Alston Brook. She was born December 8, 1916, in Swain County, NC.  She was the daughter of Claude and Laura Queen DeHart. She graduated from Swain County High School.

Amy P. Walker

Our beloved Amy P. Walker passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 50. Amy was born on Feb. 7, 1972 in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England to parents Mike and Jackie Walker, becoming little sister to brother Mick.

Ray Robinson, 85, of the Painttown Community joined his wife Rosalee in Heaven on Friday, April 8, 2022. A native of Andrews, NC and longtime resident of Cherokee, NC, he was the son of the late Minnie Robinson.

Robert Timothy Skidmore

Lyman, SC – Robert Timothy Skidmore, 76, of Lyman, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022. Tim was son of the late Harley and Maude Skidmore and the widower of Marie Ball Skidmore.

David Michael Payne

David Michael Payne, 36, of Whittier passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022. He was the son of Rita Howard of Whittier and the late Michael Dean Payne. He was a member of the Whittier United Methodist Church.

Betty Ann Hodgson

Betty Ann Hodgson, 71, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Thursday March 31, 2022. A native of Georgia and longtime resident of Florida, she was the daughter of the late A. W. Gaskins and Bertha Gaskins. Betty met her husband Robert Hodgson in Alaska in 1989 and they were married in 1992.
