Jake, 44, of Astor, FL passed gently with his mom, Tee Angel, and his sister, Chelsea Carbonetto, at his side on Friday May 27, 2022. Mike Mulherin, maintained vigil from Georgia, assisting in Jake’s hospital care to ensure he did not suffer.

Dewey Cochran, 77, of the Towstring community went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 21, 2022 at his residence. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Harley and Fannie Burr Cochran. He was a member and Deacon of Towstring Baptist Church and enjoyed camping.
