Doris Jean Postell, 80, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Thursday, November 3, 2022. Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to sing for the Lord.

Lambert G. Wilson

Lambert G. Wilson, 68, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord tragically on Thursday October 20, 2022. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Alda Woodard Wilson.

Mark Postell

Mark Postell, 49, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Thursday, October 27, 2022. A native of Swain County, he was the son of Harold Postell and his wife Tweety of Red Marble, and the late Joann Parton.

Elizabeth Hope Holloway

Elizabeth Hope Holloway, 28, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 30, 2022. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of Jack Holloway of Robbinsville, and Rosa Norris of Bryson City, and step-daughter to Tony Norris of Bryson City.

Naomi Colene Ogle

Naomi Colene Ogle, age 89, went home to be with her heavenly Father on October 24, 2022, where her loved ones were waiting. Colene was a loving, devoted wife, mother, daughter, and sister, who gave generously of her talent as a caretaker.  She was a skillful cook and a meticulous housekeeper.

Matthew Jason Moon

Matthew Jason Moon (age 37) went home to be with our Lord on Friday, October 21, 2022. He was the most loving, devoted father to Maddux Jordan Moon and Mattison Jasmine Moon. They were his entire world. He fought a long, hard battle of cancer and survived.

Donna Branton Loftis

Donna Branton Loftis, 70, of Bryson City, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday evening, October 21, 2022 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Donna was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Shorty Branton.

Vernie Franklin “Frank” Taylor

Bryson City – Vernie Franklin “Frank” Taylor, age 61, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022. Frank was born June 12, 1961 in Bluefield, WV to the late Cecil Taylor and the late Hazel Acers Taylor.

Thomas V. Cunningham (Tommy)

Thomas V. Cunningham (Tommy), 70, of the Lauada Community went home to be with the Lord peacefully at his residence Tuesday, October 18, 2022. A native of Swain County he was the son of the late Thomas Charles Cunningham and Argie Cunningham. Tommy was an avid hunter.

Johnny Ray Stroud

Johnny Ray Stroud, 70, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Monday, October 17, 2022. He was a US Navy Veteran and also worked for the Sheriff’s Department as a deputy.
