  The Maroon Devils boys varsity soccer team hosted the Smoky Mountain Mustangs on Thursday, March 11 in a non-conference matchup. The Mustangs came into the game in second place in the Mountain 6 2A conference, so the Devils knew they could be facing a tough game to wrap up their regular season.

It was quite the eventful Saturday and Monday for the Swain High boys varsity team. The Maroon Devils were holding on to a one-game lead over Highlands Highlanders and the Murphy Bulldogs going into the weekend.

Swain boys soccer 7-2 overall with Tuesday’s win over Bobcats

The Maroon Devils Boys Soccer Team hosted the Blue Ridge Bobcats on Tuesday. With a strong second half, the Devils secured a 4-1 win, bringing the team to a 7-1 record in conference and 7-2 overall. The first half was a tight battle between the two teams.
