Conrad Mitchell

Conrad was born in Bermuda to Edna Lucille Cooper Mitchell and William James Mitchell, Sr.  He grew up in Bermuda, New Jersey, and Texas. After graduating from Fort Lee High School, he moved to Texas to attend the University of Houston and help run the family business.

William “Bill” Burnett

William “Bill” Burnett completed his earthly journey and stepped into glory Tuesday, July 28, 2020. Bill was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents U.Z. and Dorothy Breedlove Burnett and sister Patricia Simons.

Louise Ward Conner

Louise Ward Conner passed away on Saturday August 1 at her home on Coopers Creek. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Ward of High Point, NC.

Ella LeQuire Sellers

Ella LeQuire Sellers, 71, of Whittier went home to be with the Lord Wednesday July 29, 2020. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Harvey and Elizabeth Carson LeQuire.

Ann Keith

July 28, 2020— Ann Keith, 90, formerly of Bryson City is resting in the arms of Jesus. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud Keith. For 43 years, she lovingly served with her husband caring for and loving the members of the churches where they ministered.

Ricki Lee Eshbach

Ricki Lee Eshbach, 59, of Bryson City, formerly of Franklin, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 22, 2020. He was a member of Gloria Day Lutheran Church in Hampton, VA.

Ricky Ray Frady

Ricky Ray Frady of Bryson City passed away on July 17, 2020. He was born in Swain County on September 5, 1960 to Ray Frady Nellie Frady.  He was of the Baptist Faith. Ricky worked with his father many years at Barbers Orchard.  He was very talented and could fix or repair anything.

Elizabeth Ann Edwards

Elizabeth Ann Edwards, 62, of Cherokee went to be with her heavenly father on July 12, 2020. She is survived by her husband, Lee Edwards, of thirty-seven years.  She passed away on their anniversary.  She was born in Jamestown, Virginia, on February 13, 1958 to Inez Welch Soap.

David Eugene Maynard

David Eugene Maynard, 71, of Bryson City, passed away March 25, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. He was the son of the late Bud Jarrett and Maudie Smith Maynard.
