Mary Seonia Fuller Lambert, 80, of Cherokee, North Carolina went to her Heavenly home on June 29, 2020 surrounded by loved ones. Mary will be greeted at Heavens Gate by her late husband, J.D. Lambert, and sons: Will Lambert and Rick Lambert.

Mary Lee McMahan Potter aged 79 of Bryson City NC, beloved wife of Durward W Potter, left this earth on the evening of Tuesday, June 23rd 2020. She was the daughter of the late Beatrice Pilkington McMahan and Glenn McMahan.

Hans Ehrke

Hans Ehrke, 82, of Bryson City passed on to Heaven on Sunday, June 28, 2020. He leaves behind his wife, Marilyn Ehrke; three children, Michelle, Gretchen, and Heidi, and six grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date. Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Garnell W. Thomas

Garnell W. Thomas, 87, of Bryson City, passed away on June 24, 2020. She was born in Swain County to the late Mann and Vonnie Bowers.  In addition, Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her husband of twenty five years, Ted Thomas. Mrs. Thomas was an active member of Hillside Baptist Church.

Betty Bradley Ball, age 78 of the Balltown community in Swain County, NC, followed her husband Charles Ray to their heavenly home to walk the streets of Glory hand and hand on Saturday June 27, 2020.

Reverend Charles Ray Ball

Reverend Charles Ray Ball, age 79 of the Balltown Community in Swain County, NC, went to his heavenly home Thursday, June 25, 2020. He was an ordained Baptist Preacher and faithfully served the Lord by preaching God’s Word for the past 59 years.

Casey Dean Wood

Casey Dean Wood, age forty four of Whittier, NC went to be with his dad on June 14, 2020. He is preceded in death by his loving Father, Larry Henry Wood.

June Smith Cochran

June Smith Cochran, 73, of the Alarka Community was welcomed into Heaven on June 19, 2020. She was a wonderful wife, mother, Jumaw, and great-Jumaw.  She was a friend to many and served her Lord with enthusiasm and joy.  She was faithful to her husband, family and her Lord.

Stephen Earl Ammons

Stephen Earl Ammons, 64, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, June 11, 2020. A native of Swain County and longtime resident of Caldwell County he was the son of the late Fred and Thelma Breedlove Ammons. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a sister, Freda Ammons.

Avery Bowers Jr.

Avery Bowers Jr., age 80, of the Alarka community passed away Sunday, June 7, at his residence. Avery was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and was a passionate storyteller. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked various construction jobs over the years.
