Bill Waldroup went to his heavenly home on November 17, 2020; he had been a resident of Mountain View Manor for the past three years. Bill was loved by many that cared for him each day. Bill was preceded in death by wife Ruby Jones Waldroup and Beatrice Brooks Waldroup.

Edward Thomas

Edward Thomas, 78, of the Kirkland Creek community went home to be with the Lord Saturday, November 21, 2020. He was the son of the late Walter and Maggie Ledford Thomas. Ed was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Thomas.

Janice Wiggins Tucker

  November 10, 1930  —  November 29, 2020   Janice Wiggins Tucker, 90, of Hickory passed away  peacefully to be with her eternal Father in Heaven Sunday, November 29th.  She was surrounded by her beloved family.

Charles W. Weeks

Charles W. Weeks, 64, of Bryson City passed away on November 15, 2020. He was born in Orange County Florida to the late Willie Weeks and Betty Martin.  Charles was a devout Christian man that would give you the shirt off of his back. He loved everyone and everyone loved him.

Glen H Thomas

Glen H Thomas, 1940 – 2020, went home peacefully, Thursday evening, to be with his Lord and Savior. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lawton and Bertha Thomas.

Frederick Luke Cable

Frederick Luke Cable, 78, of Bryson City, NC passed away on November 12, 2020 of natural causes. Fred was born on February 2, 1942 to George Patterson (Pat) and Elva Crisp Cable of Canton, NC.  After graduating from Canton High School, he went on to serve in the United States Air Force.

Amanda Faith Walls

Amanda Faith Walls, 42, of Bryson City, NC passed away at her home on November 14 surrounded by her family. Amanda is survived by her husband Tony Walls and two children, Sarah Marie and Benjamin Troy, all of Bryson City. She is also survived by her parents J.R.

Lillian Elizabeth Crisp “Lil”

Lillian Elizabeth Crisp “Lil”, 89 of Bryson City, went home to be with her Lord on Friday, November 13, 2020 after a period of declining health. She was the daughter of the late McClellan Messer and Sally Jenkins Birchfield.

Pamela Lee Smith

Pamela Lee Smith, age 59, of Long Creek, SC passed away suddenly November 13th, 2020 due to a ruptured brain aneurysm. Pam was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Mary January Miller Smith and the late Wayne Albert “Bert” Smith, Jr.

Michael Gordon Lindsay

Michael Gordon Lindsay, 71, of Bryson City and Wilcox, Arizona, passed away on November 2, 2020. Mr. Lindsay was born on March 9, 1949, in Gaston County, North Carolina to the late Gordon and Leona Lindsay.
